Three-time Group 1 winner Bivouac (Exceed And Excel) will stand at Darley’s Kelvinside base for an introductory fee of $66,000 (inc GST), meanwhile Street Boss (Street Cry) will relocate to Kelvinside where he will stand for an increased fee of $55,000 (inc GST), having stood last season for a fee of $27,500 (inc GST).

Street Boss has enjoyed a brilliant season on the track, siring four stakes winners, including ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes (Gr 1, 1400m) winner Anamoe and Elite Street, who landed the Winterbottom Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m).

Following a stellar 24 months both on the racetrack and in the sales ring, where Exceed And Excel (Danehill) was responsible for a career-best $2.1 million colt earning him the title of leading sire by average at this month’s Inglis Easter Yearling Sale, the son of Danehill (Danzig) headlines the roster at an unchanged fee of $132,000 (inc GST).

The ever-popular Lonhro (Octogonal) will be offered to breeders for unchanged fee of $66,000 (inc GST), while Brazen Beau (I Am Invincible) - who sired his first Group 1 winner this season in the shape of Manawatu Sires Produce Stakes (Gr 1, 1400m) winner On The Bubbles - heads the roster at Victoria and will stand for an unaltered fee of $49,500 (inc GST).

Exceed And Excel’s son Microphone will stand his second season alongside his father at Kelvinside for an unchanged fee of $38,500 (inc GST), while European champion Too Darn Hot (Dubawi) will stand for a second time at a fee of $44,000 (inc GST) and Blue Point (Shamardal) will stand is second term at Northwood Park for an unchanged fee of $44,000 (inc GST).

The roster includes a new trio of shuttle stallions made up of the best European juvenile in 25 years, Pinatubo (Shamardal), who will join the Kelvinside roster at a fee of $44,000 (inc GST) with Northwood Park’s Victorian roster receiving a major boost with the additions of the world’s highest-ranked racehorse of 2020, Ghaiyyath (Dubawi) and the undefeated champion two-year-old Earthlight (Shamardal), who will stand for $27,500 (inc GST) and $22,000 (inc GST) respectively.

“It’s hard to think of a farm that’s retired seven Champions to stud in a two-year period,” said Darley Australia’s head of sales Andy Makiv.

“To have these horses standing in Australia gives us the potential to embark on a golden era.”

Having sired two stakes winners from his first crop, shuttler Frosted (Tapit) has been subject to a significant fee hike and will stand the 2021 season for $44,000 (inc GST) at Northwood Park, having stood the previous term for $22,000 (inc GST).

“We’re constantly saying that the Darley stallions win, they sell and they get you to the big days, because ultimately that’s what we’re seeing, that’s what our clients strive to achieve, and we believe our roster will provide every breeder, at all levels, those opportunities,” said Makiv.
