Classy filly Hela (Night Of Thunder) will put her unbeaten record on the line when she lines up in Saturday's Australasian Oaks (Gr 1, 2000m) at Morphettville on Saturday and looks to hand her trainer Scott Brunton with his first Group 1 winner.

The daughter of former Darley Stud shuttler Night Of Thunder (Dubawi) has won all seven of her career starts, headlined by a victory in the Strutt Stakes (Listed, 2100m).

"She's looked good but she's beaten nothing so far," Brunton told Racing.com.

"The one thing that really stood out about her to me was her first run over 2100 metres when she broke the track record and not too many three-year-old fillies would've done that.

"How good is she? I don't really know yet but I can tell you she's the best horse I've got in the stable here.

"She's more tradesman-like than The Inevitable, whereas he's got that utter brilliance when he's right.

"She's certainly the best chance I've had at winning a Group 1, I believe.

"She'll head across Tuesday for the Wednesday morning on the plane and from there (Melbourne), we'll take her ourselves by car and float to either Adelaide or Murray Bridge.

"It's far from ideal but that's what we've got to do if we want to run horses in these nice races on the mainland."
