Co-trainers Anthony and Sam Freedman will chase Queensland riches with Frontman (Redoute's Choice) after the colt pleased his trainers with an impressive jump-out win at Werribee on Monday.

The son of Redoute's Choice (Danehill) has yet to break his maiden, finishing second on debut behind subsequent Group 2 winner Lightsaber (Zoustar) at Sandown-Hillside on February 3, while he finished fifth behind the son of Zoustar (Northern Meteor) on his second start at the same track on February 17.

Sam Freedman told Racing.com they have earmarked the BRC Sires' Produce Stakes (Gr 2, 1400m) at Eagle Farm on May 29 and the JJ Atkins (Gr 1, 1600m) at the same track on June 12 for the colt.

"There is every chance that he'll get up there (Queensland)," Freedman said.

"We are just giving a bit of thought to where we will kick him off. He was in last Thursday, but we pulled him out to give him another trial.

"He trialled really nicely this morning with the blinkers on and he's a horse that hopefully will measure up and we can get him to Queensland.

"He was very good (when second) at his first start behind Lightsaber then he regressed a little bit (when placed fifth) when he met him again next, so we gave him a break and he's come back really well."

The colt is part-owned by James Harron, as well as members of the Ingham family and his breeders Arrowfield Stud.

"Ultimately, he's a horse that will probably keep improving as a three-year-old," he said.

"Redoute's Choices tend to get better with time and racing so he's still got a little bit to learn but he's on an upward spiral."
