The Daniel Bowman-trained Ocean Beyond (Ocean Park) will put his unbeaten record on the line when he lines up in the Tobin Bronze Stakes (registered as Euclase Stakes) (Gr 2, 1200m) at Morphettville on Saturday.

The son of Ocean Park (Thorn Park) was last seen winning the Mitchell McKenzie Stakes (Listed, 1200m) on November 28, having broken his maiden on his previous start at Geelong on November 7.

"The rescheduling of the McKenzie Stakes worked out good for us in the spring," Bowman said.

"We knew we had a very good horse on our hands, but we had a bit of a setback through spring and couldn't get a jumpout into him for him to be ready earlier in the season."

Ocean Beyond has been prepared for this weekend's resumption with three jumpouts and had his final gallop ahead of race day at Camperdown on Tuesday morning.

"I've got no doubt he's up to this level, whether it's now or in time, we'll find out," Bowman said.

"This has been his target for a long time … he is ready to roll first up. I'm just excited to get him back to the races and see what he can do."

The first two placegetters from the Tobin Bronze are granted ballot-free exemption for The Goodwood (Gr 1, 1200m) at Morphettville on May 16.
