The Jason Warren and Dean Krongold-trained Brooklyn Hustle (Starspangledbanner) will line up in her eighth Group 1 when she tackles the Robert Sangster Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m) at Morphettville on Saturday.

Racing away from Melbourne for the first time, Warren sent the mare across to the Morphettville stable of Richard Jolly to prepare for Saturday's 1200 metre sprint.

"We travelled the horse over last Friday," Warren said.

"She's settled in well. She had her final gallop on Tuesday on the course proper.

"It's her first time at being stabled on track which is a bit different for her, but she seems to be taking it all in her stride."

Warren, who trains on a property outside of Mornington, said he wanted to give Brooklyn Hustle every chance of claiming a Group 1 win after seven previous unplaced efforts at the highest level.

For Warren, and connections, Brooklyn Hustle gets her chance to break through on Saturday, but will have to do it the tough way from gate 15.

"Her racing pattern is a bit get-back, run-on anyway, so let's hope the big track will let her overcome the barrier," Warren said.

"A lot of the run-on horses are drawn wide, so I guess they'll all be coming in a group and hopefully she's getting home better than the others."

Warren said the Group 1 had been the plan for Brooklyn Hustle since her return to work. "This has been on the radar all the way through given it's for fillies and mares," Warren said.

"It's probably a bit easier than the races she's been in of late, but Group 1's are never easy."

Warren said that if Brooklyn Hustle performs well on Saturday she may remain in Adelaide for The Goodwood (Gr 1, 1200m) at Morphettville in a fortnight.
