The Phillip Stokes-trained Instant Celebrity (Not A Single Doubt) - who was last seen winning the Robert Sangster Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m), will be looking to become only the third three-year-old filly to win The Goodwood (Gr 1, 1200m) at Morphettville on Saturday.

Only two three-year-old fillies have been successful in the Group 1 sprint over 1200 metres since the turn of the century, with Perfectly Ready (More Than Ready) having been successful in the 1200 metre sprint in 2006, while unbeaten champion Black Caviar (Bel Esprit) took out the Group 1 in 2011.

"I'm hoping now that they've had a bit of racing on that track they can run out wide, but Jamie knows that track pretty well," Stokes said.

"Has she improved on the other day, I don't think she has, she's about the same, and is that good enough to win a Goodwood, I'm not sure.

"She's had the two runs in now and meets a tougher field, but hopefully they're running on out wide.

"I had concerns before the Robert Sangster, so to see her win was pleasing, and being a Group 1 that was a bonus.

"She goes there in good order, but it is a tougher race as there are some really good horses in it."

Instant Celebrity will clash with Gytrash (Lope De Vega) in the Group 1, who will be making a comeback having not been seen since his victory in the Yes Yes Yes Stakes (1300m) at Rosehill on October 31.

Last year's Black Caviar Lightning Stakes (Gr 1, 1000m) will jump from barrier four and he will be looking to go one better than 12 months ago in the Group 1.

"It is a great barrier with pace inside him so I hope he can be one pair back with cover," Gordon Richards said.

"In my opinion he is the best 1200-metre horse in the race and if the best of him shows up, I guess we will find out.

"I am pretty confident but wary at the same time of bad luck, that he should run well."
