Last month's Easter Cup (Gr 3, 2000m) winner Hang Man (Windsor Knot) will not run in Saturday's RA Chairman's Trophy (Gr 3, 2000m) at Doomben if the rain keeps falling in Queensland.

Currently rated a Heavy 9, drying conditions are expected in the lead-up to Saturday, with Moroney having booked Glen Boss to ride from barrier four.

"We are keeping an eye on the weather because he's one of few Europeans that doesn't really like wet ground," Moroney told Racing.com.

"If it does become too wet, he will take his place in the Doomben Cup instead, we're really just in search of good ground.

"We just feel he's got one more handicap win left in him before we have to weight-for-age him and it looks a nice race for him on Saturday."

After this victory in the Easter Cup the gelding finished third in the Japan Racing Association Plate (Gr 3, 2000m) on April 24 and he will carry topweight 59.5kg on Saturday.

"He's not an overly big horse, so the weight maybe against him to carry that weight against horses that haven't got a lot of weight (is a concern)," he admitted.

"But look if all things being equal, if he gets luck in running and the track is to his style, I think he is probably the one to beat."
