Kacy Fogden-trained Selling Sunset scores at Casino
The Aquis Farm-based sire Divine Prophet (Choisir) chalked up his fifth winner on Friday when the Kacy Fogden-trained Selling Sunset (2 f ex Rolling Stock by High Rolling) shed her maiden status at the third time of asking over 1200 metres at Casino.
Selling Sunset scampered away to post a two-length win over Bean Foggy (Spill The Beans) with Waltz (Hinchinbrook) a further length back in third.
The filly is the second winner out of eight time winner Rolling Stock (High Rolling).
Selling Sunset’s fourth dam is Group 2 scorer Fiancee (Baguette) - the dam of Group 3 winner Zip Me Up (Zephyr Zip), while further back the filly hails from the same family as Group 1 winner Wild Iris (Spectrum) and Group 2-winning pair So Swift (Barely A Moment) and Zanbagh (Bernardini).
Selling Sunset was Rolling Stock’s last foal and she was retired from broodmare duties in 2019.
Divine Prophet’s five winners are headed by Group 3-placed filly Fortunate Kiss and he will stand the 2021 season for a reduced fee of $16,500 (inc GST) having stood his four previous seasons at stud for $22,000 (inc GST).
