Stands at Eureka alongside Encryption at $13,200
Eureka Stud will consolidate its roster for the 2021 season and stand two stallions, headed by Spirit Of Boom (Sequalo), who will stand for a reduced fee of $33,000 (inc GST), having stood the 2020 season for a fee of $44,000 (inc GST).
Spirit Of Boom stood his first four seasons at stud for a fee of $11,000 (inc GST) and was crowned champion first-season sire by number of winners in 2017/18.
The 2018 crop of yearlings were well received in the sales ring this year, with 76 selling for an aggregate of $10,528,752 at an average of $138,536.
The sire of 12 stakes winners, Spirit Of Boom's black-type scorers are headed by Group 2-winning pair Boomsara and Spirits Auber.
He will be joined on the roster once again by Encryption (Lonhro) and he will stand for an unchanged fee of $13,200 (inc GST).
The son of Lonhro (Octagonal) covered 133 mares last season and he will have his first yearlings sell in 2022.
Red Dazzler (Red Ransom) after serving 14 breeding seasons at Eureka will be retired from stud duties due to decreased fertility, while Defcon (Choisir) will be sold by his owners on the Inglis Digital Early May Online Auction and he is catalogued as Lot 310.
