Pelorus Princess brings up her sire's 200th winner this season

Pelorus Princess (3 f ex Fastnet Heart by Fastnet Rock) became the 200th Australian winner this season for Yarraman Park's I Am Invincible (Invincible Spirit) when she won at Sale on Friday.

Having her third career start, the Danny O'Brien-trained filly broke her maiden by two and a quarter lengths. A $280,000 buy by Kennewell Racing and Group One Bloodstock at the 2019 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale from the draft of Three Bridges Thoroughbreds, she becomes the first winner for her dam.

I Am Invincible now heads the leading sires table in Australia by winners, 14 ahead of his nearest rival Written Tycoon (Iglesia). He has sired 12 stakes winners so far this season with his leading earner being Libertini.
