Part of their plans for additional training centres close to Randwick, Rosehill and Warwick Farm

Racing NSW has purchased Bong Bong Farm in Moss Vale, the facility developed by Paul and Angela Fudge for their Waratah Thoroughbreds operation.

The property, which was listed for sale in April with a guide price of $35 million, will become part of Racing NSW’s plan for additional training centres close to Randwick, Rosehill and Warwick Farm to accommodate further demand for stables.

The 97.5 ha property comprises five properties accumulated over 13 years and includes four John Ladd-Hudson designed barns with 61 boxes, an irrigated 1,250m gradual incline turf and sand training track.

"Paul and Angela visited many properties in the world and plucked the best ideas from them to build this amazing facility," Inglis Rural Property director Jamie Inglis said.

"It has been their love, dream and hobby all rolled into one."
