The late Widden Stud sire Sebring (More Than Ready) sired a stakes double on Saturday when Biscayne Bay (2 f ex Fratianne by Lonhro) landed the SAJC Sires' Produce Stakes (Gr 3, 1400m), while Grace And Harmony (3 f ex Champagne Harmony by Choisir) continued her excellent form in the Gold Coast Bracelet (Listed, 1800m) which saw the stallion's total number of stakes winners swell to 69.

Trained by Lindsay Park, Biscayne Bay came into Saturday's Group 3 contest having finished second in the Anzac Day Stakes (Listed, 1400m) on April 25 and she finished strongly to prevail in a close finish, beating Blushing Tycoon (Written Tycoon) by a head, while dual stakes winner Cloudy (Frosted) was the same distance away in third.

Co-trainer Ben Hayes expressed his delight at the filly's performance and said she would now be aimed at the Thousand Guineas (Gr 1, 1600m) at Caulfield in the spring.

It was fantastic to get a winner back here. Our family has a long history at this carnival,'' Hayes said.

"I think she is a really exciting horse. We have always had a real high opinion of her.

"For her to win like that and have that turn of foot was exciting.

"She got back further than we hoped so it was a bit of a scary look but Ollie (Damien Oliver) was able to zig and zag and get there in the end. She does love wet tracks. She won impressively in the wet at Sandown. I think she has a lot of class.

"She could be a horse we target for the Thousand Guineas in the spring.''

Bred by Widden Stud, the filly was purchased by Sun Bloodstock for $410,000 at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale last year and she is out of winning Lonhro (Octagonal) mare Fratianne who Widden purchased for $185,000 at the Inglis Weanling and Broodmare Sale in 2017.

Fratianne is the dam of one other winner; Group 2 scorer Tenley (Medaglia d'Oro) and her sister Sonja will be offered by Godolphin in foal to their shuttle stallion Frosted (Tapit) at the upcoming Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale on the Gold Coast. She is catalogued as Lot 1053 .

The filly's third dam is dual Group 1 scorer Skating (At Talaq) and she produced Group 3 winner Murtajill (Rock Of Gibraltar) and Listed-winning duo Sunset Rain (End Sweep) and Bradbury's Luck (Redoute's Choice). She is also the dam of Skates (Danehill) - the dam of triple crown winner and now Coolmore Stud-based sire Vancouver (Medaglia d'Oro) and fellow Group 1 winner Juste Momente (Giant's Causeway).

In 2019 Fratianne produced a colt by Widden Stud-based stallion Zoustar, while last season she foaled a filly by his barnmate Trapeze Artist (Snitzel).

Sebring's day got better when the Chris Waller-trained Grace And Harmony added a third successive victory to her record and first at stakes level when she led home a New Zealand-bred trifecta in the Gold Coast Bracelet.

The three-year-old filly came into the race having taken out her two previous appearances at Newcastle and Randwick Kensington and she kept her winning streak alive with a comfortable length and a quarter win over stablemate Signora Nera (Sweynesse). Only Words - who is also by the Novara Park-based sire Sweynesse (Lonhro) - was another quarter of a length away in third.

Bred by Greenwich Stud, the filly is out of Group 2 winner Champagne Harmony (Choisir), making her a half-sister to Group 1-placed Sezanne (More Than Ready) and a further three winners.

Grace and Harmony's third dam is L'Quiz (L'Enjoleur) - the dam of dual Group 1 winners St Reims (Zabeel) and Champagne (Zabeel) - the dam of Listed winner Nadege (Giant's Causeway) and Martique (Danehill).

Further back this is also the same pedigree as Imposingly (Zabeel) - the dam of multiple Group 1-winning champion Bonneval (Makfi), Group 2 winner Lord Arthur (Camelot), Groupo 3-winning trio Imposing Lass (Makfi), Full Of Spirit (Flying Spur) and Lady Cumquat (Duke Of Marmalade).

In 2019 Champagne Harmony produced a colt by Tavistock (Montjeu), who was passed in at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale in 2020 after failing to make his $150,000 reserve, while her colt by I Am Invincible (Invincible Spirit) was also passed in a this year's edition of the sale when he failed to make his $500,000 reserve. Last Spring she produced a filly by former Vinery Stud shuttler and Sebring's sire More Than Ready (Southern Halo).

Sebring's stakes winners are headed by six Group 1 winners and he died at Widden Stud in 2019.
