Toorak Toff, Pride Of Dubai, Kodiac and Golden Horn all add new stakes winners

Three for Toorak Toff
Pintoff (5 g ex Pinsahoy by Pins) became the third stakes winner for Toorak Toff (Show A Heart) when he landed Saturday’s Regal Roller (Listed, 1200m) at Caulfield. Toorak Toff’s first stakes winners were Toorak Affair and Iconoclasm. 

 

11 for Pride Of Dubai
Coolmore’s Pride Of Dubai (Street Cry) sired his 11th stakes winner when Dubai Honour (3 g ex Mondelice by Montjeu) recorded his second victory in three career starts in Saturday’s Prix Guillaume d’Ornano (Gr 2, 2000m) at Deauville. Taking the lead with 200 metres left to travel, Dubai Honor scored a comfortable length and three quarter victory over Pretty Tiger (Sea The Moon). Pride Of Dubai’s 2021 fee at Coolmore’s Hunter Valley farm has been set at $22,000 (inc GST). 

 

70 for Kodiac
The William Haggas-trained Cloudy Dawn (3 f ex In The Mist by Pivotal) provided Tally-Ho Stud’s Kodiac (Danehill) with his 70th stakes winner when she won the Prix de Lieurey (Gr 3, 1600m) at Deauville on Saturday. The James Wigan-owned filly, who had been placed in the Prix Amandine (Listed, 1400m) at Deauville last start, pulled clear in the closing stages to beat the favourite, Just Beautiful (Pride Of Dubai), by a half length. Kodiac’s stakes winners include five Group One winners with his son Hello Youmzain, a dual Group One winner, standing at Cambridge Stud this year. 

 

Six for Golden Horn
Darley’s Golden Horn (Cape Cross) notched up stakes winner number six when Sun Of Gold (3 c ex Salve Aurora by King’s Best) won the Prix michel Houyvet (Listed, 2800m) at Deauville. Golden Horn stood for a fee of £20,000 at Dalham Hall Stud in Newmarket this year.
