Three stallions will stand at Riverdene Stud this year with Dissident (Sebring) and Sizzling (Snitzel) heading the roster at $6,600 (inc GST), unchanged from 2021. They will stand alongside Va Pensiero (Stratum) whose fee remains at $2,200 (inc GST).

"Dissident has been consistently in the top-20 stallions in the country for winners," said Riverdene Stud's Kevin Pendergast.

"Presently sitting with 78 individual winners (for the season), we are hoping to reach the 100 Club this racing year.

"He also has had a new two-year-old stakes winner (in New Zealand). I think that Dissident is performing well enough to remain in the public eye."

Sizzling has sired over 50 winners so far this season including the Group placed three-year-old Burning Power. This year will be the third consecutive season that the son of Snitzel (Redoute's Choice) has stood at $6,600.

Va Pensiero, a multiple Group winning son of Stratum (Redoute's Choice) has had a handful of runners include the winners Mandalorian, Bootyful Diva and Penopera and he will be covering his seventh book of mares in 2022.
