It has been almost a decade since Nechita's brief-but-brilliant racetrack career but Australian buyers will be presented with a rare opportunity this week on the Gold Coast.

One of the most anticipated lots on Friday's second and final day of the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale is a colt out of the 2012 Coolmore Stud Stakes winner bred to Southern Hemisphere time.

He is the result of a union with British legend Frankel and will be offered by Coolmore Stud as Lot 356.

Nechita, who is by Fastnet Rock out of the Peintre Celebre mare Artistique, did not race after her Coolmore Stud Stakes win, the last start of a four-run career that generated three wins.

She was bought by Coolmore's Tom Magnier for $1.55 million at the 2013 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale and sent to Ireland where she had five foals by Frankel, four of which have raced for three winners, including two Stakes winners.

Forbearance was a Group 3 winners in England, while Harpo Marx came to Australia after winning one of six in Europe and last year won the Group 3 Premier's Cup at Kembla Grange before a third placing in the Group 1 The Metropolitan.

Awesome Wonder, a three-year-old filly by Southern Hemisphere time, had her first three starts in Europe but is now trained in Sydney by John O'Shea and is a $15 chance in Queensland Oaks betting after a 1600m Wyong maiden win at her Australian debut.

"A horse of that ilk; a Frankel coming through as a foal from an outstanding mare that's been an outstanding producer already is something that has been a great talking point," Magic Millions managing director Barry Bowditch said.

Nechita returned to Australia while carrying the Frankel colt and was last year served by Justify.

The Nechita colt is one of two lots by Frankel to be offered by Coolmore at the National Weanling Sale with a colt out of former New Zealand Filly of the Year, Fix, to go through the ring earlier on Day 2.

Nechita's daughter On Tiptoes is also now in Australia and will be offered, in-foal to Camelot, on Thursday's third and final day of the National Broodmare Sale.
