Miss Hellfire (2 f ex Peace Time by War Front) will now contest next weekend's Magic Millions 2YO Classic (RL, 1200m) after taking out Saturday's Aquis Gold Pearl (1100m) at the Gold Coast. In winning, the Triple Crown Syndications-raced filly provided her young Yarraman Park Stud-based sire Hellbent (I Am Invincible) with his first winner.

Trained by Peter and Paul Snowden, Miss Hellfire was having her second start after finishing second on debut in the Wyong Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1100m) last month and on Saturday, she ran on well to score by three quarters of a length from Perfect Mission (The Mission) with Stroll (Snitzel) another length and a half back in third.

Miss Hellfire is now a $15 chance for next weekend's race and the Snowden stable will now have two runners in the valuable race with Russian Conquest (Russian Revolution) already having secured her place.

"The 1200 next week will be no dramas for Miss Hellfire and wet or dry there will be no dramas," co trainer Paul Snowden said.

"I'm really keen to back her up next week, she has got more left in the tank and that is for sure."

Bred by SF Bloodstock, Miss Hellfire is the second Australian foal out of US-bred mare Peace Time (War Front), a daughter of Grade Two winner and Grade One placed mare Santa Catarina (Unbridled).

Peace Time was bought by for $US260,000 at the 2016 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale by SF Bloodstock and has a yearling filly by former Vinery shuttler More Than Ready (Southern Halo), but missed the following year.

Yarraman Park Stud's Hellbent has has 23 lots catalogued for the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale which begins on Tuesday.
