More Than Ready has produced more individual winners than any other stallion and while he stood his final season in Australia four years ago sadly died last August, the son of Southern Halo's impact on the Australian scene remains.

The former Vinery shuttler had more individual Group 1 winners in Australia than any other sire this season.

The biggest of them was the Golden Slipper with Shinzo (Snitzel x Samaready), Coolangatta (Written Tycoon x Piping Hot) won two of them – the Moir Stakes and Black Caviar Lightning – while King Colorado (Kingman x More Aspen) won the J J Atkins.

Daughters of Encosta De Lago also produced the winners of four Group 1s in total, while the great Redoute's Choice was responsible for the winners of more Group 1 races than any other broodmare sire thanks to six wins by Anamoe (Street Boss x Anamato) and Artorius (Flying Artie x Gracie's Lass).

Due to the dead-heat in Epsom Handicap, there were 75 Group 1 winners in Australia in 2022/23 with 60 individual broodmare sires represented.
