At around the same time Justify returned to Australia for the first time in two years, Tom Magnier added to the band of quality mares that will visit the top Coolmore stallion this year by purchasing Miss Roseiano.

The daughter of Exceed And Excel became the most expensive horse sold on Inglis Digital this year when sold for $1,275,000, which bettered the $1.2 Another Award (Shamus Award) realised last week.

Miss Roseiano, who won the Group 3 Blue Diamond Preview on debut and finished second in the Group 2 Blue Diamond Prelude at her following start, was bought with the soon-to-be-crowned Australian Champion 2YO Sire in mind.

"She's been bought to go to Justify, the team and I think she's an ideal match for him both physically and on pedigree,'' Magnier said.

"She's from a great family, she was an exciting race filly and Justify could not be going any better, having both the highest rated two-year-old colt and two-year-old filly in Europe in addition to some hugely exciting horses here including Learning To Fly, whom we know well.

"It was a pretty intense bidding scenario as it can be on Inglis Digital who always do a great job with this platform, but we were delighted to get her.

"In quite a coincidence, literally as the bidding clock ended, Justify was landing in Australia to cover another hugely exciting book of mares, now including Miss Roseiano, so hopefully there is a positive omen there.''

Miss Roseiano, who is out of the Pins mare Special Lover, attracted bids from four interested parties beyond $1 million.

The former Peter Gelagotis-trained mare was part of a stand-alone sale but will not be the last Group performer offered on Inglis Digital this year with dual Group 2 winner Jamaea (Headwater) already confirmed for the July (Late) Sale.
