Bearstone Stud's multiple Group 1 winner dies aged 21.

Multiple Group-wining miler Firebreak (Charnwood Forest) died at Bearstone Stud in England on Monday following a deterioration in his health. He was 21. 

Winner of the Mill Reef Stakes (Gr 2, 6f) at two he won the Supreme Stakes (Gr 3, 7f) the following season and then added the Godolphin Mile (Gr 2, 1600m) at four. As a five-year-old he won the Hong Kong Mile (Gr 1, 1600m) as well as defending his Godolphin Mile crown. 

Firebreak has sired four stakes winners headed by the Group 1 winner Hearts Of Fire as well as Group winners Caledonia Lady and Fire Ship. He had been pensioned at Bearstone Stud for two years.
