Sands Of Time scores on debut
Twin Hills Stud one-time shuttler Bobby's Kitten (Kitten's Joy) sired his first winner on Sunday when the Mark Johnston-trained Sands Of Time (2 f ex Starlit Sands by Oasis Dream) scored on debut at Lingfield.
The Kirsten Rausing-owned filly defeated Spark Fury (Kodiac) by five lengths in the British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Fillies' Stakes (5f).
Sands Of Time is out of the Group 3 winning mare Starlit Sands (Oasis Dream) who has now produced four winners from five foals to race. Her second dam is the Group placed mare Shimmering Sea (Slip Anchor) who produced eight winners and is the grandam of Songerie (Hernando), Souvenance (Hernando), Sourire (Domedriver) and Soft Morning (Pivotal) who all won at stakes level.
Bobby's Kitten stood in Australia for just one season in 2017 when he covered a book of 42 mares. His 2020 fee at Rausing's Lanwades Stud in Newmarket was £8,000.
