Three for second season sire Galiway
Sealiway (2 c ex Kensea by Kendargent) scored an impressive five length victory at Vichy on Thursday and in doing so provided his sire Galiway (Galileo) with his third stakes winner.
Bred and raced by Guy Pariente, the colt beat Stormy Pouss (Stormy River) whilst Central Park West (Martinborough) was another three lengths back in third.
Galiway’s first two stakes winners are Kenway and Wanaway and he has a strike rate of 12 per cent stakes winners to runners.
Sealiway is one of two winners out of Listed winning mare Kensea (Kendargent). Her second dam is Sea Island (Gold Away) whilst further back this is the family of Group 2 winners Another Dancer (Groom Dancer) and Ahzeemah (Dubawi).
Bred and raced by Wertheimer & Frere and trained by Andre Fabre, Galiway won the Prix le Fabuleux (Listed, 1800m) and stood for a fee of €10,000 at Haras de Colleville this year.
