Former Darley shuttler Teofilo (Galileo) sired his 18th Group 1 winner on Saturday when his daughter Donjah (4 m ex Dyanamore by Mt. Livermore) landed the Preis Von Europa (Gr 1, 2400m) at Cologne.

The four-year-old mare landed the Premio del Jockey Club (Gr 2, 2400m) in October 2019, but was last seen running fourth in Grosser Hansa Preis (Gr 2, 2400m) and she bounced back to winning ways when beating Kaspar (Pivotal) by a neck, while British raider Dame Malliot (Champs Elysees) finished another half a length further back in third.

Purchased by HFTB Racing Agency for €100,000 2017 BBAG September Yearling Sale, the mare is out of Listed-placed mare Dyanamore (Mt. Livermore), making her a half-sister to Listed-placed duo Tiglath (Footstepsinthesand) and Danny Boy (Caradak).

Dyanamore herself is out of Listed winner Dynatrol (Dynaformer), who is herself out of Listed winner Coast Patrol (Cornish Prince).

Coast Patrol herself is a grandam of Group 3-winning duo Ever Strong (Lomitas) and Empire Storm (Storming Home). Further back this is the family of multiple Group 1 winner Earl Of Tinsdal (Black Sam Bellamy) and Listed-winning pair Earlsalsa (Kingsalsa) and Emily Of Tinsdal (Librettist).

Teofilo, whose Group 1 winners include Kermadec, who stands at Darley's Kelvinside base and Sun Stud-based Palentino. The son of Galileo (Sadler's Wells) stood at Darley's Kildangan Stud base for a fee of €40,000 in 2020.
