Tokyo Gold wins Prix Haras De Bouquetot
The Haras de Colleville-based Kendargent (Kendor) sired his 32nd stakes winner on Saturday when his son Tokyo Gold (2 c ex Biancarosa by Dalakhani) ran out a ready winner of the Prix Haras De Bouquetot (Listed, 1650m) at Craon.
Last seen breaking his maiden at the second time of asking at Saint-Malo on July 30, the colt beat Ludo (Penny’s Picnic) by a short-head, while Avrilomanoir (Penny’s Picnic) finished another head back in third.
The colt is one of two winners and the first stakes winner out of Listed-winning mare Biancarosa (Dalakhani).
Biancarosa herself is half-sister to Group 3 winner Rosa Del Dubai (Dubai Destination), the dam of Group 2 winner Folega (Oasis Dream) and Listed-winning duo Fa Ul Scuir (Farhh) and Favulusa (Dansili).
Biancarosa also counts Listed-winning Rogue Runner (King’s Best) and Rolando (Campanologist) and the dam of Group 3 winner You Better Run (Thewayyouare) as her other half-siblings.
Kendargent stood for a fee of €15,000 in 2020.
