The Richard Hannon-trained Posted (4 f ex Time Away by Darshaan) added some valuable black-type to her record when she finally got her head in front at stakes level in the Fortune Stakes (Listed, 1m) at Sandown on Wednesday.

The four-year-old filly was unruly before the race, but that did not thwart her performance as she galloped clear in the final stages to be pre-race favourite Montatham (Showcasing) by three lengths, while Lavender's Blue (Sea The Stars) was another half a length way in third.

Posted is a daughter of 2001 Musidora Stakes (Gr 3, 1m2f) winner Time Away (Darshaan), making her a half-sister to Prix de Malleret (Gr 2, 2400m) winner Time On (Sadler’s Wells), who in turn produced Group 3 scorer Mot Juste (Distorted Humor).

Time Away is also the grandam of Moyglare Stud Stakes (Gr 1, 7f) winner Cursory Glance (Distorted Humor) and fellow elite level winner Digital Age (Invincible Spirit).

Time Away herself is a half-sister to Listed-placed mare Moment Of Time (Rainbow Quest), the dam of 2019 Crystal Mile (Gr 2, 1600m) winner Chief Ironside (Lawman), while Moment Of Time is also the grandam of multiple Grade 3 winner Incantation (Sinister Minister) and Group 3 winner Cairn Groom (Bated Breath).

Juddmonte Farms’ Kingman is represented in Australia this season by his Group 2-winning son Calyx, who is standing at Coolmore Stud in the Hunter Valley for a fee of $17,600 (inc GST).
