Having finished second on her most recent start in the October Fillies' Stakes (Listed, 7f) on October 11, the William Haggas-trained With Thanks (3 f ex Thanks by Kheleyf) broke through at stakes level when she landed the Athasi Stakes (Gr 3, 7f) at Naas on Sunday providing her Yeomanstown Stud-based sire Camacho (Danehill) with his 16th stakes winner.

The three-year-old filly looked the winner from a long way out and she eventually pulled clear to beat Silk Forest (Kodiac) by a decisive five lengths, while Soul Search (Zoffany) was another half a length away in third.

Purchased by Blandford Bloodstock for €100,000 at the 2019 Tattersalls Ireland Goresbridge Flat Breeze-UpSale, the filly is out of the unraced Kheleyf (Green Desert) mare Thanks.

Thanks herself is a half-sister to Listed winner Briviesca (Peintre Celebre), who in turn produced Group 1 winner Villa Marina (Le Havre).

With Thanks’ third dam is Group 1 winner Kilinski (Niniski) - the dam of Listed scorer Kiswahli (Selkirk), who in turn produced Kinetica (Stormy Atlantic). Further back this is the same family as Group 1 winner Madame Chiang (Archipenko).

Camacho will stand for a reduced fee of €5,000 in 2021, having stood for €10,000 in 2020.
