Khaiz (Dubawi), a brother to Ghaiyyath, who Darley announced last week would shuttle to their Northwood Park farm in Victoria this year, holds entries for both Doncaster and Kempton on Saturday.

The Charlie Appleby-trained three-year-old, who was bred by Dermot Weld’s Springbank Way Stud, was bought by Stroud Coleman Bloodstock for 700,000gns at the 2018 Tattersalls December Foal Sale from The Castlebridge Consignment. He is out of the Irish 1,000 Guineas (Gr 1, 1m) winner Nightime (Galileo) who, in addition to the aforementioned Ghaiyyath, has also produced Grade 1 winner Zhukova (Fastnet Rock).

The first two-year-old race of the British flat season - the Brocklesby Conditions Stakes (5f) - will also run on Saturday and of the 18 entries there are seven runners by first season sires in the National Stud-based Aclaim (Acclamation), Overbury Stud’s Ardad (Kodiac), the Tally-Ho Stud-based pair Cotai Glory (Exceed And Excel) and Galileo Gold (Paco Boy) and the Haras du Petit Tellier-based The Grey Gatsby (Mastercraftsman).
