39 for Camelot
Former Coolmore Australia shuttler Camelot (Montjeu) sired his 39th stakes winner on Tuesday when the Jean-Claude Rouget-trained Penja (3 f ex Just With You by Sunday Break) won the Prix de Psyche (Gr 3, 2000m) at Deauville. Under Cristian Demuro, Penja got up in the closing stages to score by a nose over Irish raider The Blue Brilliant (Fastnet Rock).

Camelot's stakes winners are headed by eight Group One winners including Sir Dragonet and Russian Camelot. In Australia his 73 runners have yielded 52 winners and six stakes winners.

First for Adaay
Have A Good Day (2 f ex Black Meyeden by Black Minnaloushe) became the first stakes winner for Adaay (Kodiac) when she won Tuesday's Prix de Cabourg (Gr 3, 1200m) at Deauville. Having her fifth career start, the filly took the lead in the final 100 metres and score by a half length from DIzzy Bizu (Caravaggio), with Trident (Wootton Bassett) a close third. The Whitsbury Manor Stud-based Adaay has two crops of racing age and his progeny include the stakes placed trio Tea Dance, Doctor Strange and Furlong Factor.

Three for Galileo Gold
First season sire Galileo Gold (Paco Boy) sired his third stakes winner on Tuesday when the previously stakes placed Oscula (2 f ex Bisous Y Besos by Big Bad Bob) won the Prix Six Perfections (Gr 3, 1400m) at Deauville. Trained in Newmarket by George Boughey, Oscula led from the gates and stayed on well in the closing stages to hold of the challenge of favourite Zellie (Wootton Bassett), who was a length and a half back in second.

Based at Tally Ho Stud, Galileo Gold's first crop includes eight winners headed by the Listed winning pair Ebro River and System as well as the stakes placed filly Hellomydarlin.
