Juddmonte Farms’ stallion Kingman (Invincible Spirit) was provided with his 32nd stakes winner on Thursday courtesy of Reina Madre’s (3 f ex Splashdown by Falbrav) victory in the Prix Imprudence (Gr 3, 1400m) at Deauville.

A winner of one race in Madrid as a two-year-old, the three-year-old filly was having her first start this season and she stayed on bravely to narrowly getting the better of Sky Angel (Dark Angel) - beating her by a neck, while Louliana (Acclamation) was a further length and a half away in third.

Purchased by Outsider Bloodstock for €350,000 at the 2018 Goffs Ireland November Foal Sale, Reina Madre is out of Splashdown (Falbrav), who was purchased by Emerald Bloodstock for 145,000gns at the 2017 Tattersalls December Mares Sale when carrying the filly in utero.

Splashdown is also the dam of three other winners, headed by Group 3 winner Aktabantay (Oasis Dream), while the mare is a half-sister Listed scorer Cosmodrome (Bahri).

Kingman’s 32 stakes winners are headed by elite level-winning trio Persian King, Palace Pier and Domestic Spending. The stallion is standing at Banstead Manor in Newmarket for a fee of £150,000.
