Coronation Stakes first up for Oodnadatta

Part Bob Scarborough-owned filly heading towards Royal Ascot after missing 1,000 Guineas

After missing the 1,000 Guineas (Gr 1, 1m) earlier this month the Bob Scarborough-owned Oodnadatta (Australia) will likely make her seasonal debut in the Coronation Stakes (Gr 1, 1m) at Royal Ascot next month.

Trained by Jessie Harrington, the Bob Scarborough and John Magnier-owned filly broke her maiden at Leopardstown in June and went on to finish third in the Moyglare Stud Stakes (Gr 1, 7f) at the Curragh last October.

"She's had a slight hiccup in her campaign, so she missed the 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket earlier this month," said Scarborough.

The filly is the sole entrant in the Group 1 from the Jessica Harrington stable.
