Kingman and Acclamation add new Group winners and Pride Of Dubai notches up his tenth stakes winner

19th Group winner for Kingman
Juddmonte Farm’s Kingman (Invincible Spirit) sired his 19th Group winner on Saturday when the Archie Watson-trained Parent’s Prayer (4 f ex Pure Excellence by Exceed And Excel) won the Princess Elizabeth Stakes (Gr 3, 1m0.5f) at Epsom. Parent’s Prayer kept on well in the closing stages to beat Nazuna (Kodiac) by two and a quarter lengths with favourite Statement (Lawman) another three and a quarter lengths back in third. Bred by Sun Kingdom Pty Ltd, Parent’s Prayer was bought for €165,000 by BBA Ireland at the 2019 Goresbridge Flat Breeze Up Sale. She is out of Listed winning Pure Excellence (Exceed And Excel) who is a half-sister to Listed winner Barolo (Danehill). Parent’s Prayer has produced 35 stakes winners overall. 

 

25th Group winner for Acclamation
The Rathbarry Stud-based sire Acclamation (Royal Applause) sired his 25th Group winner when the Richard Hannon-trained Oh This Is Us (8 h ex Shamwari Lodge by Hawk Wing) won Saturday’s Diomed Stakes (Gr 3, 1m0.5f) at Epsom. The eight-year-old entire ran on well in the closing stages and scored by a nose from joint favourite Century Dream (Cape Cross). Oh This Is Us is one of 56 stakes winners for his sire Acclamation who stood for a fee of €27,500 this year. 

 

Ten for Pride Of Dubai
Just Beautiful (3 f ex Astrelle by Makfi) remained undefeated when she won Saturday’s Dickson Stakes (Listed, 7f) at Musselburgh and in doing so became the tenth stakes winner for Coolmore Australia's Pride Of Dubai (Street Cry). Having her fourth career start and second this season, Just Beautiful stayed on well to beat Jouska (Cable Bay) by a length and a half. Pride Of Dubai will stand for a fee of $22,000 (inc GST) this spring. 

 

29 for No Nay Never
Former Coolmore Australia shuttler No Nay Never (Scat Daddy) was represented by his 29th stakes winner when Unicorn Lion (5 g ex Muravka by High Chaparral) won the Naruo Kinen (Gr 2, 2000m) at Chukyo. Trained by Yoshito Yahagi, Unicorn Lion defeated five-year-old entire Shonan Bardi (King’s Best) by three and a half lengths. Champion first season sire in 2018 in Europe, No Nay Never shuttled to Australia for four seasons between 2016 and 2019 and he stood at Coolmore Stud in County Tipperary for a fee of €125,000 this year.
