Meu Amor victorious in Wednesday’s Eternal Stakes
In winning Wednesday’s Eternal Stakes (Listed, 7f) at Carlisle, the Ralph Beckett-trained Meu Amor (3 f ex Enraptured by Oasis Dream) became the 48th stakes winner for her Aga Khan Studs-based sire Siyouni (Pivotal).
The Amo Racing-owned Meu Amor settled behind the early leader before she took the lead within the final 200 metres to pull away to score by two and three quarter lengths. Thunder Beauty (Night Of Thunder) finished in second with favourite Cloudy Dawn (Kodiac) another two and a quarter lengths further back in third.
Bred by Lady Bamford, Meu Amor was bought by MC Bloodstock from Book 3 of the 2019 Tattersalls October Yearling Sale before being reoffered at the following year’s Arqana Deauville Breeze Up Sale where she was bought by Alex Elliott for €330,000. Her dam was a winner at two and is a half-sister to Group 3 winners Pincheck (Invincible Spirit) and Valeria Messalina (Holy Roman Emperor).
Siyouni’s stakes winners include six Group 1 winners while in Australia he has produced five winners from only seven runners including Todman Stakes (Gr 2, 1200m) winner Aylmerton and Listed winning filly See You In Spring.

A likeable effort from the Siyouni filly, who puts plenty of distance between her and her rivals with @RKingscote on top for @RalphBeckett @BritishEBF pic.twitter.com/vzbJrMyUz0
