186 for Fastnet Rock
Coolmore Stud's Fastnet Rock (Danehill) notched up his 186th stakes winner on Monday when the Joseph O'Brien-trained Buckaroo (3 c ex Rotheryn by Galileo) won the Tetrarch Stakes (Listed, 1m) at the Curragh. Raced by Qatar Racing, Buckaroo pulled clear in the final 100 metres to defeat Wexford Native (Teofilo) by four lengths, his second win in six starts. Fastnet Rock is the sire of 42 Group 1 winners to date and his 2022 fee at Coolmore Australia remains unchanged for a fourth consecutive year at $165,000 (inc GST).

The victory was also the 238rd stakes victory for the late Galileo (Sadler's Wells) as a broodmare sire while the Fastnet Rock – Galileo cross has produced 25 stakes winners with a strike rate of 19 per cent stakes winners to runners.

37 for No Nay Never
The Aidan O'Brien-trained Blackbeard (2 c ex Muirin by Born To Sea) remained unbeaten on Monday when he won the First Flier Stkaes (Listed, 5f) at the Curragh under Ryan Moore, providing former Coolmore Australia shuttler No Nay Never (Scat Daddy) with his 37th stakes winner. Starting favourite, Blackbeard got up in the closing stages to score by a head from Crispy Cat (Ardad) and the colt is now the winner of his two career starts. No Nay Never now has five crops of racing age in Europe and his stakes winners include a trio of Group 1 winners in Alcohol Free, Ten Sovereigns and Brooke. He stood in Australia for four seasons between 2016 and 2019.
