Havana Grey's fee rises over 200 per cent

Whitsbury Manor Stud release fees for their four stallions headed by Showcasing

Whistbury Manor Stud has released the fees for the four stallions that they will stand in 2023 with the roster headed by Showcasing (Oasis Dream) whose fee remains at £45,000. Young stallion Havana Grey (Havana Gold) however has been subject to a large fee increase and he will stand at £18,500 in 2023, having stood the 2022 season at £6,000. 

Havana Grey's first crop are two-year-olds this season and the son of Havana Gold (Teofilo) has sired 41 winners from 82 runners and five stakes winners including the Group 3 winning trio Lady Hollywood, Eddie's Boy and Rumstar. Another eight of his first crop have placed at stakes level this year. Havana Grey stood his first season in 2019 at a fee of £8,000. This was dropped to £6,500 in 2020 and then he stood for £6,000 in 2021 and 2022. 

Showcasing stood for a career high fee of £55,000 in 2019 and 2020 before it was dropped to £45,000 in 2021. The Whitsbury Manor Stud roster is completed by Sergi Prokofiev (Scat Daddy) and Due Diligence (War Front) whose fees remain at £6,000 and £5,000 respectively.
