Sumbe announced that the stud career of triple Group 1 winner Mishriff (Make Believe) has been put on hold. The son of Make Believe (Makfi) has not recovered sufficiently from the injury that prevented him commenting stud duties earlier this year.

Sumbe released a statement on Twitter which read: "In the best interests of the horse, Mishriff will not commence stud duties this year. Despite significant progress in his recovery, our veterinary team advised that all covering plans should be cancelled for the remainder of the covering season."

Mishriff was due to stand for a fee of €20,000 this year.
