The 2019 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale concluded on Sunday in Lexington with a Scat Daddy mare, True To You, topping session 12.

The 2019 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale concluded on Sunday in Lexington with a Scat Daddy mare, True To You, topping session 12. Offered by Vinery Sales, the 7-year-old mare True To you was purchased for US$30,000 by Machmer Hall and was sold not in foal. 

The overall sale saw 2,667 horses sell for US$200,139,400 at an average of US$75,043 and median of US$25,000 compared to last year's renewal when 2,644 lots sold for US$197,851,300 at an average of US$74,830 and US$25,000 median.

The top price this was was the US$3,200,000 paid for Take Charge Brandi by Hill 'N' Dale at Xalapa.

Overall 14 lots traded for US$1,000,000 or more in 2019 compared to 9 lots in 2018. Taylor Made Sales Agency were the leading vendors having sold 292 lots for US$27,511,100 whilst the leading buyer was Hill 'N' Dale at Xalapa who spent US$5,351,000 on 10 lots and Shadai Farm were second leading buyer by aggregate having spent US$3,600,000 on 4 lots.

Australian buyers were active during the sale including SF for Newgate Farm who spent US$840,000 on 4 lots.

Their purchases included Street Boss mare Euroboss who was sold in foal to Into Mischief for US$350,000 and March X Press, a daughter of Shanghai Bobby in foal to Tapit, for US$330,000.

Sheamus Mills Bloodstock also purchased 4 lots including stakes placed Medaglia d'Oro 3-year-old filly Backflash for US$200,000. Sun Bloodstock were also active buying 5 lots for a total spend of US$560,000 headed by Our Majesty for US$375,000.

The stakes placed daughter of Majesticperfection was another sold in foal to Tapit. Craig Rounsefell's Boomer Bloodstock meanwhile purchased 2 lots.
