Vadamos (Monsun) - who finished as leading first season sire at Karaka this year - will stand for an unchanged fee of NZ$15,000 (plus GST) at Rich Hill Stud in 2020.

The son of Monsun's (Konigsstuhl) had 31 yearlings sold for a total of NZ$3,148,057 at an average of NZ$101,550 and Rich Hill Stud's managing director John Thompson said he had had good feedback on the yearling from breakers and trainers.

"The word coming in now from breakers is extremely positive," Thompson said. "No surprises, we knew they were lovely movers with great attitudes.

"We look forward to seeing his progeny out trialling and racing next autumn at two in preparation for the all-important spring three-year-old racing."

Proisir (Choisir) - who is currently leading second season sire in New Zealand - will stand for a fee of NZ$9,000 (plus GST) in 2020, up from NZ$7,000 last year. Proisir's progeny has enjoyed a lucrative time on the track, headlined by Group 3 winner and Group 1-placegetter Riodini and New Zealand Oaks (Gr 1, 2400m) placegetters Vancooga and Feel the Rush.

Meanwhile, Ace High (High Chaparral) will stand his second season for an unchanged fee of NZ$10,000 (plus GST), while barnmate Shocking (Street Cry) will be offered to breeders for a slightly reduced fee of NZ$8,000 (plus GST) in 2020. The son of Street Cry (Machiavellian) stood for NZ$8,500 (plus GST) a year ago.

Rich Hill and Shadai Stallion Station are still discussing travel options with Satono Aladdin's (Deep Impact) return to New Zealand for the 2020 southern hemisphere season and should he return to New Zealand he will again stand at NZ$12,500 (plus GST).

"We have had a lot of interest from breeders based on his outstanding first crop foals. We are however working through possible quarantine and travel options due to the current Covid-19 situation," Thompson said.

"Satono Aladdin is a beautifully-bred son of Deep Impact who won Japan's most prestigious Group 1 mile race, the Yasuda Kinen, so we are very keen for him to return to New Zealand if a viable travel option can be worked out." "Rich Hill stallions have always offered breeders the opportunity to not only breed a good racehorse but also achieve a profitable return in the sale ring."
