Little Avondale have announced the 2021 service fees for their trio of stallions, Per Incanto (Street Cry), Time Test (Dubawi) and Nadeem (Redoute’s Choice).

The 2020/21 season has been a record-breaking one for Per Incanto in New Zealand’s three major international markets and he headlines the stud’s roster at NZ$25,000 (plus GST) with a live foal guarantee for the forthcoming breeding season. He stood for a reduced fee of NZ$15,000 (plus GST) in 2020 having stood the prior season at NZ$17,500 (plus GST).

The proven son of Street Cry (Machiavellian) leads both the Hong Kong and Singapore leading sires’ tables by individual winners is and has a healthy winners to runners ratio of 61.9 percent in Australia. The multiple Group One sire is third behind Savabeel (Zabeel) and Fastnet Rock (Danehill) on the New Zealand leading sires table by earnings.

An outcross to Danehill (Danzig), Per Incanto has had 15 stakes performers this season headlined by his three-year-olds which include Group One winner Bonham, Group Three winner Miss Aotearoa and the New Zealand Oaks (Gr 1, 2400m) and Lowland Stakes (Gr 2, 2100m) runner-up Charms Star, all of whom have Danehill on their female line. The cross is running at 10.2 percent stakes performers to runners.

Per Incanto’s progeny have proved popular in the sales ring since his first progeny entered that arena eight years ago, with his stock averaging a remarkable 11-times his service fee across the 259 yearlings and Ready To Run Sale horses sold across Australasian sales.

Shuttle stallion Time Test, who returns from The National Stud in England has met with strong market support since standing his first Southern Hemisphere season at Little Avondale in 2018.

Fully booked last season at 135 mares, the dual Group Two winning son of super sire Dubawi (Dubai Millennium) debuted in style across all the leading Australasian sales in 2021.

Time Test’s progeny sold up to NZ$220,000. He had 23 yearlings average NZ$74,000 across Melbourne Premier, Sydney Classic and Karaka at a return of 7.4 times his first season service fee of $NZ10,000. Time Test will stand the 2021 season at NZ$8,500 (plus GST), up from NZ$8,000 (plus GST) last year.

Consistent sire Nadeem, the sire of 31 stakes horses, will stand at the unchanged service fee of NZ$4,000 (plus GST) with a live foal guarantee.
