If Yarraman Park are offering Marie Yoshida of Asian Bloodstock Services will not be far away. Yesterday, the agent had her heart set on Houtzen's (I Am Invincible) sister and she was not disappointed, managing to take the filly home for $1 million.

"This is the horse of the sale and we are so thankful and blessed to purchase her," said a delighted Yoshida. "I cannot believe it.

"The mother has an I Am Invincible filly and she's back in foal to the stallion, Houtzen is in foal to Curlin - it's a golden family. She has the walk and she has the moves, she is the most gorgeous horse in the sale."

This filly is sister to the ultra-talented Group 3-winning mare Houtzen, who also landed the Magic Millions 2YO Classic (RL, 1200m) in 2017. Her dam, Set To Unleash (Reset), is out of Leash (Redoute's Choice) who also produced the dam of Listed winner Mystery Love (Eurozone) and is a half-sister to multiple Group / Grade 1 winner Sun Classique (Fuji Kiseki).

Yoshida said the filly, who was catalogued as Lot 749, will head into training with Peter and Paul Snowden, who train California Zimbol (I Am Invincible) for owner Asian Bloodstock Services Howard Liang.

"We're very, very happy. She will go into training with Peter and Paul Snowden and we are very excited, they deserve a good filly and we hope she does well.

"They loved her when they saw her and she has the greatest temperament. We got beaten so many times yesterday, but every time we said: It's OK there is a bit more budget for the filly."

Yarraman Park sold the filly's dam for $900,000 at last year's Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale and Harry Mitchell said he was happy with the way the filly sold yesterday.

"We were very happy. Marie Yoshida bought her, she's had luck buying off us," said Mitchell.

"She was a beautiful filly - $1 million is a lot of money, but I think it was a very fair price. She was busy, but then again they are never that easy to sell those sorts of horses because people always think they are going to make too much for their budgets and if the big people don't like her then it can get tricky, but luckily they did and there was good competition on her.

"It was a great sale, she was a cracking type and Houtzen has been a very good filly, so it was a good result."

Yoshida has enjoyed a lot of success buying off Yarraman Park; including Group 3 winner California Zimbol, who she purchased off the farm for $450,000 at the 2018 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale, while she also snapped up that filly's Astern (Medaglia d'Oro) half-brother for $725,000 earlier in the week.
