After Enaya Alrabb topped Wednesday's session at the Keeneland January Horses of All Ages Sale when she was purchased for by James Schenck for US$640,000, Coolmore's former shuttler Uncle Mo (Indian Charlie) was once more thrust into the spotlight when a yearling colt by the popular sire led the way after being bought by Springhouse Farm for US$400,000.

Catalogued as Lot 830 pdf the colt is out of Listed winner Red Sashay (Big Brown), who is herself a half-sister Grade 3 winner Shamaal Nibras (First Samurai) and stakes winner New Edition (Stormy Atlantic).

The day's second-highest price lot was Elle's Town (Speightstown), who was purchased for US$240,000 by Doug Arnold of Buck Pond Farm. The four-year-old filly was last seen running second in the Pago Hop Stakes (Listed, 8f) at Fair Grounds on December 28.

Catalogued as Lot 1035 pdf and consigned by Bluewater Sales, agent, the filly represented a healthy profit for Three Diamonds Farm, which bought her for US$77,000 at last year's Fasig-Tipton July Selected Horses of Racing Age Sale.

Bred in Kentucky by Forging Oaks, Elle's Town is out of the stakes winner and Grade 3-placed mare Irish Presence (Midnight Lute).

The third highest-price lot on the third day was for a son for a yearling colt by WinStar Farm's promising young stallion Constitution (Tapit), who finished second behind American Pharoah (Pioneerof The Nile) in the leading first-season sires list in America last year, while he was leading first season sire by number of winners; with 26.

The colt was catalogued as Lot 908 pdf and is out of Tiz Willy (Tiznow) - herself out of Listed winner City Fair (Carson City), making her a half-sister to Grade 2 winner Win Willy (Monarchos). He was bought by Solis / Litt for US$210,000.
