Victorian stud and auction house to hold online sale.
Rosemont Stud have teamed up with Magic Millions and will hold an exclusive reserved sale online on May 25 and 26.
Almost 100 lots are catalogued for the unreserved sale, the second to be held on the auction house's new online sales platform.
A feature of the reduction will be 39 weanling offerings by sires including Exceed And Excel (Danehill), Zoustar (Northern Meteor), Written Tycoon (Iglesia), Russian Revolution (Snitzel), Brazen Beau (I Am Invincible), Capitalist (Written Tycoon), So You Think (High Chaparral), Hellbent (I Am Invincible), Nicconi (Bianconi), Toronado (High Chaparral) and Rosemont residents including Starcraft (Soviet Star) and Starspangledbanner (Choisir).
The broodmare prospects include 12 stakes performers, including 2016 Matamata Breeders' Stakes (Gr 2, 1200m) winner Gold Rush (So You Think) - who will be offered in foal to Savabeel (Zabeel) and Split Lip (Your Song), who has been covered by Widden Stud-based stallion Zoustar (Northern Meteor).
"This is a very exciting announcement to make in conjunction with Magic Millions," Rosemont Stud principal Anthony Mithen said. "We've been working together on this project since the beginning of the year."
"We love the idea of a dynamic style online event with a condensed bidding period. Prospective buyers will get the chance to digest photos, videos and independent agent assessments.

Bidding at the online auction will be open on May 25 and the countdown to the sale of each horse will commence at 11am (AEST) on Tuesday May 26.
"Rosemont are leaders in their field and to be able to partner up to offer this quality line-up of horses is an honour," Magic Millions managing director Barry Bowditch said.
"We look forward to releasing the catalogue late next week and then to what will be an action packed period of bidding on May 25 and 26."
