A filly by Not This Time (Giant's Causeway) became the first horse to break the million dollar mark during the second session of the OBS Spring Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training when bought by Gary Young for US$1,350,000 on Wednesday.

Sold by Top Line Sales, the filly breezed in a time of 20.1 seconds. She is out of the Grade 3 winning mare Sheza Smoke Show (Wilko) and was catalogued as Lot 1254.

She had been purchased for US$135,000 by Mark Marino from Taylor Made Sales Agency's consignment at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale.

Of the 193 horses offered at the second session, 142 sold for a total of US$15,044,000. The average price for the session was US$105,944 and the median was US$57,000. These figures represented a decrease from the corresponding session in 2019 when 183 horses sold for US$22,902,500 at an average price of US$125,150 and median of US$75,000.
