National Broodmare Sale gets underway this morning on the Gold Coast

The rescheduled Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale gets underway this morning at the Gold Coast. Today’s sale includes race fillies - Book 1 (lots 1 - 147) and the supplementary lots from Lots 148 to 169. 

One of the sale highlights is multiple Group 1 winner Sunlight (Zoustar) who is catalogued as Lot 80. Consigned by Widden Stud, the four-year-old was bought at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale for $300,000 by Aquis, McEvoy Mitchell Racing and Blue Sky Bloodstock. She went on to win the Newmarket Handicap (Gr 1, 1200m), Coolmore Stud Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m) and William Reid Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m). 

Also set to sell today is fellow Group 1 winner Invincibella (I Am Invincible) who goes through the ring early as Lot 12. Later on in the session Unforgotten (Fastnet Rock), winner of the 2018 Australian Oaks (Gr 1, 2400m), will be offered by Blue Sky Premium Consignment as Lot 92.

Also included in today’s sale is the stallion shares and nominations (lots 201 to 205).
