Alexia Fraser Bloodstock was looking on the bright side after she sold all four of her two-year-olds for an aggregate of $327,000 at Tuesday’s Magic Millions 2YOs In Training Sale and the top-priced of the quartet was a Street Boss (Street Cry) colt, who set to head into training with Ciaron Maher and David Eustace after they paid $170,000 for the youngster.

Fraser told Racing & Sports Bloodstock that given the current situation, she thought the price was a good result for the colt.

“I think it was a good result in the current market with the COVID situation,” said Fraser. “He is a lovely horse and a lovely mover and he breezed up well with a lovely action. Overall I think he sold quite well.

“I would say the sale is definitely back on previous years. It’s unfortunate, but everyone involved has done the best job they possibly could have. It is just out of our control, but it is definitely back on by buyers numbers and back on prices.”

The colt was purchased by Kennewell Racing and Group 1 Bloodstock for $75,000 at the Magic Millions Adelaide Yearling Sale from the draft of Mill Park Stud and he breezed in a time of 10.67 seconds.

Catalogued as Lot 11, the colt is out of the winning Elusive Quality (Gone West) mare Miss Otto, making him a half-brother to recent Stan Fox Stakes (Gr 2, 1500m) winner Peltzer (So You Think), who added the lucrative $1 million Bondi Stakes (1600m) to his CV on October 24.

Miss Otto herself is a half-sister to five-time winning stakes-placed Galileo (Sadler’s Wells) mare Miss With Attitude - the dam of Listed scorer Crown Towers (Camelot), while her other stakes-placed half-sister produced stakes winner So We Are (So You Think).

Further back this is the same family as Group 1 winners Sharaya (Youth), Watch Me (Olympic Glory), Shawanda (Sinndar), Enke (Kingmambo) and Shareta (Sindaar).
