Quartet includes Group 2-winning three-year-old Royal Lytham who will sell at the Tattersalls December Mares Sale

The July Stakes (Gr 2, 6f) winner Royal Lytham (Gleneagles) is one of four wildcards added to the Tattersalls December Mares Sale, the auction house announced on Thursday. 

The two-time-winning son of Coolmore Stud resident Gleneagles (Galileo) also finished third in the Phoenix Stakes (Gr 1, 6f). 

Catalogued as Lot 1508A and offered as part of the Castlebridge consignment, the colt is out of Listed-winning Gotlandia (Anabaa) and hails from the family of Group 1 winner Glorosia (Bering). 

The Castlebridge Consignment will also offer the well-bred three-time winning Kendargent (Kendor) filly Ela Katrina in training as Lot 1752A. 

A daughter of the Lancashire Oaks (Gr 3, 1m3.5f) winner and multiple Group / Grade 1 runner up Ela Athena, she is a half-sister to the Doncaster Cup (Gr 2, 2m1.5f) winner Pallasator (Motivator). 

Meanwhile, Jamie Railton will offer winning Bated Breath (Dansili) mare Facilitate, who will be offered in foal to former Darley shuttler Exceed And Excel (Danehill). 

Catalogued as Lot 1613A, the mare is out Listed winner Emergency (Dr Fong) and she is a half-sister to Group 1 winner Prohibit (Oasis Dream) and Listed winner Prior Warning (Barathea). 

Further back this is the same family as Grade 3 scorer Out Of Reach (Phoenix Reach). 

Jamie Railton will also consign Littledidyouknow (Due Diligence), a three time-winning filly who received a valuable pedigree update this summer when her half-sister Bodhicitta (Showcasing) landed the Yellow Ribbon Handicap (Gr 2, 8.5f) at Del Mar, while she also finished second in the Gamely Stakes (Gr 1, 9f) at Santa Anita.

Catalogued as Lot 1858A, further back the filly hails from the same family as Group 1 winner La Collina (Strategic Prince) and Group 2 winner Fracas (In The Wings). 

The Tattersalls December Mare Sale will begin it’s four-day run on November 30.
