The Inglis March (Early) Online Sale was open for bidding on Friday, with 360 lots catalogued for the auction, including a 35 lots from the Aquis Farm racehorse reduction and 13 broodmares offered by Corumbene Stud.

The catalogue comprises 172 racehorses (71 race fillies/mares), 128 broodmares, 26 yearlings, five weanlings, 24 racehorse shares and two stallions.

Aquis Farm will offer Osamu (Exceed And Excel), who finished second in the Skyline Stakes (Gr 2, 1200m) last year and has been placed second on a further four occasions. 

The son of Exceed And Excel (Danehill) is out of Group 3-winning Written Tycoon (Iglesia) mare Written Dash and hails from the same family as Group 1 winner Sizzling (Snitzel). The gelding is catalogued as Lot 77.

Meanwhile, Newgate Farm will offer 2019 Canonbury Stakes (Gr 3, 1100m) winner McLaren (Exceed And Excel) as a stallion prospect. 

Catalogued as Lot 360, the entire is out of four-time winning Encosta De Lago (Fairy King) mare Serenada. 

Serenada herself is a half-sister to Group 2 winners First Command (Commands) and Oneworld (Danehill Dancer). 

There are also mares in foal to stallions such as All Too Hard (Casino Prince), Brave Smash (Deep Impact), Headwater (Exceed And Excel), Hellbent (I Am Invincible), Merchant Navy (Fastnet Rock), Pierata (Pierro), Shamus Award (Snitzel), So You Think (High Chaparral), Starspangledbanner (Choisir), Written By (Written Tycoon) and Zousain (Zoustar).

The final countdown of bidding will begin from 3pm (AEDT) on Wednesday, March 17.
