Italian Guineas winner and a Listed winner by Siyouni are amongst those now to sell
Arqana announced on Thursday that 11 Wild Cards have been added to their forthcoming Summer Sale. These lots comprise nine horses in training, together with one mare in-foal to No Risk At All (My Risk) and a black-type filly. They will go under the hammer on Thursday, July 1.
The Channel Consignment will offer four horses from the trainer Roberto Biondi:
- Group winner Elisa Again (Champs Elysees) (lot 487), a last start Listed winner who has not finished out of the first two this season.
- Juan De Montalban (Lope De Vega) - finished runner-up in the Derby Italiano (Gr 2, 2200m).
- A Listed winner and placed in the Italian St Leger (Gr 3, 2000m), Agnes (Planteur) will go through the ring as lot 502.
- The 2021 Italian 2000 Guineas (Gr 3, 1600m) winner Fayathaan (Mehmas).
The stable of Jean-Claude Rouget meanwhile will offer Darkness (Siyouni), a Listed winner who has a current rating of 95.
A further 23 supplementary lots have also been added to the catalogue, made up of ten flat-bred two-year-olds, 11 horses in training, and two fillies. Eight Wild Cards are still to come.
