Four lots sell for six figures at the Arqana Summer Sale on Wednesday

A colt by Creative Cause (Giant's Causeway) was the joint top-lot to sell during the breeze up section of the Arqana Summer Sale in Deauville on Wednesday. Out of winning mare Fight With Pride (Proud Citizen), the colt was bought by by Mandore Agency, Brogi and Bernereau for €100,000. The colt had been bought for US$12,000 by Nelson Eddy Bloodstock at last year's Keeneland September Yearling Saleand the Grade 1 winner Summer Soiree features under the colt's third dam. 

The three other six figure lots were sold as part of the store section of the sale. 

Overall during Wednesay's opening session of the sale 169 of the 231 lots offered were sold for a clearance rate of 73 per cent. The aggregate sat at €3,517,500 while the average was €20,814 and the median was €14,000.
