Jeweled Princess (Cairo Prince) was the most expensive lot to sell at Monday's Fasig-Tipton July Breeding Stock Sale when bought by Stoneriggs Farm for US$225,000. Sold by Gainesway at Lot 448, the four-year-old stakes winning mare was sold in foal to Gun Runner (Candy Ride).

Jeweled Princess is the only runner out of three-time winner Jersey Jules (Scat Daddy) who is a half-sister to stakes winning filly Miss Brazil (Palace Malice) and the stakes placed pair Hammers Vision (Court Vision) and First Goal (First Defence).

The mare was the only lot to sell for more than US$200,000 on Monday with the second most expensive lot being Colonial Creed (Jimmy Creed) who was bought by Andre Lynch as agent for US$175,000.

Offered as Lot 405 by Paramount Sales, Mo See Cal is a stakes winning six-year-old daughter of former Coolmore Australia shuttler Uncle Mo (Indian Charlie) who has earnt almost US$350,000 in prize money. She is herself out of stakes winning mare Do Dat Blues (Lydgate) and was sold not in foal.

Monday's sale saw 44 of the 51 lots offered sold for US$2,012,000 at an average of US$45,727 and median of US$31,000.
