Five-year-old mare Arousal (Snitzel), who was sold as a broodmare prospect, topped the Magic Millions Online Sale (6 - 9 September) when bought by Chatsworth Farm for $260,000.

Sold as a broodmare prospect, Arousal is out of Group Three winning Dubawi (Dubai Millennium) mare Intimate Moment and was bought for $1.1 million at the 2018 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale from the draft of her breeder, Widden Stud. Intimate Moment is a half-sister to Bonnie Mac (Thorn Park) who is the dam of Coolmore Stud Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m) winner and now Vinery-based sire Exceedance (Exceed And Excel) as well as Group Three winner Oxley Road (Exceed And Excel) and Listed scorer Mac 'N' Cheese (Sebring).

Arousal raced five times for one win when she broke her maiden over 1200 metres at Canterbury in December 2019 for trainer Mark Newnham. She was later transferred to the stable of Gerald Ryan and Sterling Alexiou but disappointed in two starts.

Chatsworth Farm were also responsible for buying the second most expensive lot and the only other six figure buy when they went to $185,000 to secure Heaven's Gift (Not A Single Doubt). Out of Listed winner Sophia Babe (Iglesia), Heaven's Gift was bred by Peters Investments and is a sister to Listed winner Final Salute (Not A Single Doubt).

She raced 11 times for three wins and four placings. Initially trained by Grant and Alana Williams, Heaven's Gift then transferred to the stable of Holly Locke after being bought for just $6,000 by Bayside Racing at last year's Inglis Digital March (Early) Online Sale and broke her maiden and also placed second in the Belmont Classic (Listed, 2200m) in July last year and a third in the Belmont Oaks (Listed, 2000m) the start prior. She was most recently trained by Tony and Calvin McEvoy and won once in four starts before breaking down.

A total of 35 lots sold during the sale for $752,800 at an average of $21,509.
