11 lots sell with a breeding right to Time Test topping at 85,000gns

A breeding right to LA Stud shuttler Time Test (Dubawi) was the top lot to sell at the Tattersalls Online Sale - 15th September 2021, when bought for 85,000gns by Peter and Ross Doyle Bloodstock. 

Based at The National Stud in Newmarket in the Northern Hemisphere, Time Test has sired seven winners in his first Northern Hemisphere-bred crop to date including Group winners Romantic Time and Rocchigiani and he stood for a fee of £8,500 this year. 

“He’s a young sire going places, by a top sire in Dubawi out of a well bred Dansili mare which we love,” said Ross Doyle. 

“He’s been very well supported in recent years and very well managed by Tim Lane and the team at the National Stud. We have bought it for a client who will support him with some very nice mares.”

The National Stud’s Head of Nominations and Sales Joe Callan commented; “It’s a great result and a true reflection on his success to date. The Tattersalls Online platform offered an excellent opportunity for a breeding right to be offered on the back of Time Test’s recent outstanding results.”

The second most expensive lot to sell was a breeding right to Havana Gold (Teofilo) who made 35,000gns to the bid of Haras du Mont Dit Mont. 

Overall 11 of the 25 lots offered sold for a total of 188,200gns at an average of 17,109gns and median of 9,000gns.
